Luxury eyewear designer, Nader Zadi, has introduced yogic spectacles to function as instruments for vision. They house the lenses that refract light, thereby “enlightening” the eyes of the wearer for enhanced vision.
The spectacles demonstrate their agility by folding and wrapping the arms into various “postures” that fit into a miniature pouch. These folding spectacles, from Mr. Zadi’s personal archives originate from the 1920’s and are composed of tortoise shell with gold and silver bridges, rivets, and hinges that were engineered to swivel and fold specifically for this purpose.
